One of the greatest military achievements of the Colombian Army in the war against the FARC terrorist organization, Operación JAQUE. July 2 2008.

JAQUE is a referent for the American Continent and thus it is important to share it with our partner nations from all over the world.

JAQUE, was executed the second of July of 2008. This military operation represents a pride for the State of Colombia, especially for the Colombian military forces. JAQUE is part of several operations within the very well-planned strategy that supported the effort to the military defeat of the FARC (Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia) and helped the peace negotiations between the government and the FARC terrorist organization.

Colombian people proudly remember this wonderful operation with a sense of admiration for the military forces. JAQUE is an interesting case of study for the war against terrorism, it is worth to learn the way it was conceived, planned and executed.
